This was a new concept to me. Has anyone seen it on Draka? The excited first post you linked is 10 months old but it doesn't seem to have caught on here.

I can't get past the thought (I had before reading the second post) that this encourages buying gold by mediocre players. The only counter argument I could decipher was to not worry about it because you'll get a share of those ill-begotten riches. That doesn't satisfy me.

Pim, you're an example of honest in-game work paying off well so I realize some players do have lots of money to throw at bidding on epics. But then why not just offer to buy them in a whisper to the winner of our normal process?

As stated by some of the thread posters, this might have usefulness to get an alt some Naxx or Ulduar gear, but I don't see a shortage of well-geared players going to ICC all the time.
