As some of you may have heard, I've been running my own miniature Undergeared experiment for a while now. My warrior alt Pimi owns no item with ilvl > 200, and I've been tanking 5-man random dailies with her ever since she dinged 80. My results are purely anecdotal. Yesterday I tanked a heroic Utgarde Pinnacle for 3 dps who each averaged over 3500dps for the whole run, and I only lost aggro once (to the arcane mage).

Basically I've proven nothing that everyone didn't already know. Skill > gear, and content has been nerfed far too often. Mainly I've learned a lot about warriors, and am constantly amazed at how many more buttons they have to press while tanking than do dire bears. The experiment has kept things more interesting than just having one more character on which to farm primordial saronite.

Come to think of it, I think I'll stop farming primordial saronite on alts. Random 5-man heroics just aren't very much fun any more.
